Such a fun, holiday read!!

The concept for this was so cool, especially since some of my favorite holiday movies growing up included Halloweentown and The Santa Clause, and this was definitely giving these kinda vibes!🎄🎃

Another book where the banter was INCREDIBLE! I loved Coal’s personality and sense of humor, especially as the book developed and his character arc was occurring. Watching him interact with Kris and Iris was everything!

My only big note for the book was I wish we could have seen some of Halloween. Hex’s parents were only in half of a chapter, his brothers were only ever mentioned, and other than brief glimpses of Hex’s powers, we never see anything Halloween. We know virtually nothing of their court and customs still. That was a bit disappointing.

Otherwise, a phenomenal book and a super fun read!
