I’ve been known to love the second books in trilogies most, but that remains to be seen as the third book has not been released yet!

Firstly… The PLOT TWISTS💀

I’m not giving anything away, but good lord they just kept coming! And most of the came completely out of nowhere!

Also, I absolutely adored getting to explore more of the magic system and the world in this book! The slow burn was definitely slow burning, just like book 1, but not to an annoying extent.

I absolutely can’t wait for the next book in the trilogy! I can’t wait to see where this story goes and how it finishes off in the final book of the trilogy!

There most likely will be a more in-depth, spoiler-y review coming soon! I always struggle to write non-spoiler reviews for books in the middle of a series, as I don't want to give too much away about not only this book, but the books that came before it.

But I have SO much to say about this series, especially seeing as the series as unfinished, it's the perfect time to talk about some theories and fears I have for the final book of the trilogy!
